WHYPG Scholarship:
Note: Congratulations to Polk State Student Sean Colburn on winning the Winter Haven Young Professionals Group Scholarship, given by the Community Foundation of Greater Winter Haven through the Marlene Duffy Young Fund!
A scholarship in the amount of $2,500 will be given to a deserving student of Polk State College from the Winter Haven Young Professionals Group. The scholarship has been made possible by the Community Foundation of Greater Winter Haven through the Marlene Duffy Young Fund, in honor of a former community leader who epitomized service above self. A non-renewable scholarship for tuition and fees at Polk State College, it will be available for use beginning August 2011.
